Project Overview

This project will involve producing a 60- to 75-minute video focusing on the BMW 2002 series (and related) vehicles, mostly produced between 1967 and 1976. The video will be broken into a series of chapters, each 10-15 minutes long. The video will have some technical content, but will not be overly technical. It will appeal to all vintage BMW lovers, whether they are mechanically inclined or not. Collectors, enthusiasts, daily-driver owners, and the obsessed -- all will be educated and entertained.

We are currently looking for sponsors, partners, distributors, and participants for the project.

Format

The video will be a TV magazine-style program, "hosted" by a spokesperson who will interview participants and provide voice-over narration. There will be a short introduction and outro to the program. The spokesperson will conduct all interviews and discussions, and provide continuity through the chapters. Original music will be composed for the program, and graphic effects will be used to add explanation and enjoyment. The program will include video, graphical, and still-image footage, as well as any historical or private footage that is applicable and can be acquired.
